We can heartily recommend Skating Tours on Lake Runn, which during a snowy winter has long prepared tracks. During snow-free periods, these ice is great. Per-Erik is happy to become your tour guide.

There are also good opportunities for cross-country and downhill skiing.

Sörskog about 30 km north to Falun has great tracks even during winters with little snow in the tracks closer to our home such as in Stångtjärn and Lugnet.
Romme Alpin and Bjursås have great ski slopes on acceptable driving distance.
